Oh and that's a $14 USB optical mouse from CompUSA that matches my 5660 perfectly.

Thank you. More pics are always welcome. I know I've asked this in every thread where it's relevant, but do you think you could get a close-up of the screen. Many people want to get an idea of how small the menus, icons, etc. are on a UXGA screen so they can make a decision. No one I know has a monitor that supports 1600x1200, so it would really help. Oh, and while I'm imposing, if anyone could put up pics showing the effect on the screen of running at non-native resolution, I'd weep with joy.

well, you can drive up to Lynden to see what 1280*1024 looks like. Only about 2 hours if the traffic is decent...

Here you go....this is my desktop running 1600 x 1200 res.

If you want to get a rought idea of how big that icons would be...simply set this image as your background or wallpaper.

Thanks Tommy. That was incredibly quick. Ask and ye shall receive.

Investorguy, I would do it in a heartbeat just to see an 8886 in action, but we've got some stormy weather at the moment and I'm thinking that buying a lappy will be the least of my problems if this flimsy excuse for a house blows away.

No don't get me wrong they're great. Fantastic customer service and OK prices. But I would have gone with PCTorque because they're not to far away from me and their prices seem better.

Glad to hear you had a good experience! And I love the pics! :-) Pics rule... and I think people like to see pictures with words. I'd use more of them in the review except that I am on dialup and I'd have to mooch space for hosting off of other people, lol.
