Ordering from Alienware.co.uk

Hello.
I'm going to order my Area-51m 7700 from Alienware.co.uk.
At the page I chose my country, Norway.
Does the price on the page include UK tax (VAT?), if so, how much is it?
I just wonder what I will end up paying since tax in norway is 25%
And how is the service, if anything goes wrong with the laptop, will I have to send it back to the UK? or can I send it to service here in Norway (like Sager/PCTorque).

The price on the checkout page will probably have UK VAT at 17.5% included. If they are shipping out of the UK, you can probably ask them not to charge you this, but you'll have to pay import tax in Norway.

Hi Xaero,

Once you choose Norway as the country on the homepage no tax is charged on the order at all. This means you need to settle any import duties on delivery of the system. You can see this if you enter the configurator of the particular system you are interested in, make the changes you would like to the spec and then choose Add to Cart.

You will see the price broken down for the system, shipping, tax and total. In your case the Tax section will be empty.

Regarding the Service, if anything goes wrong every effort will be made to ship replacement parts to you, once you are happy to fit them yourself. In the event of a major problem the system would need to return to our Depot in Ireland for repair.
