plus charging your mouse is gay.

get the razer diamondback for games, get the mx1000 if you dont game because its great for office use, or the mx510 is a good alternative.
I have the MX1000 at a high sensitivity and nothing bad has happened...I play UT2004 a lot and I love this mouse for it

The razer diamondback is amazing, I couldn't ask for anything more in a mouse. And btw it doesn't have 2 buttons. As for the breakout box it's defenitely worth it if it suits your needs.

Also just get a nice sennheisser headset/headphones....surround headphones are a pain in the ass.

on your mouse i mean...
button 1=fire
button2=alt-fire
scroll=select weapon
back button= reload (BF 1942)/walk forward (most others)
forward button = crouch/prone (most games)

I try to control most of the game with the mouse

The razer Viper had 2 buttons and a scroll. The Diamondback however has two main buttons a scroll and two buttons on either side of the mouse....basically a thumb and pinky button.

And Astu, there's a little thing called voice talk...and crouch and jump. All useful on the mouse, so yes I generally use 4 buttons on my mouse when playing games.

Oh yeah, and secondary fire. haha...yes. Usually it's fire, secondary fire, crouch, and voicetalk for me. Depends on the game though

I lift the shit out of my mouse and I haven't had a single problem with Doom3, HL2, CounterStrike:Source and WoW. As far as lag goes, there isn't any that I have experienced. If you don't believe me read the many reviews on the internet. As far as the battery goes, Lithium Ion, it lasts forever I had mine off the charger for 13 days and it's still has full reading. Reviews say people have gone over a month without recharging, and 15 minutes in the charger and its ready to go again. So don't know what to tell yah

I haven't actually timed it; this is what the documentation says and I only initially plugged it in for this amount of time. I haven't had it that long so I really don't have a good estimate yet.

I checked it out but I don't like that it is wireless with a recharge station. I want this for my laptop so it would be difficult to keep it charged all the time.
