I got me a Billonton PCMCIA card, since I didnt want anything hanging out of my lappy. Was a little over $40 US, not bad.

From what I have gleaned about bluetooth... all of these adapters are running some version of the widcommdrivers- all of them. The internals are all identical, it seems. So I would advise to buy cheap.

Also, search around, there are sites showing you how to upgrade your widcomm software regardless of brand of dongle you have.

I have a Socket CF which is very good. The software is good and it fits flush in the slot. It will also work with a PCMCIA adapter. Good luck.

Ling, I was going to get one of those too... unfortunately, my billonton was almost 100$ cheaper.

Just depends what you wanna do.
