If someone is really interested in buying the lappy I suggest using the Escrow Service available through Ebay (and only Ebays). It works like this. You send the money to the 3rd party Escrow company who notifes the seller that the funds are available and verified. The seller ships the product to the purchaser, but Doesn't get the funds dispersed until the buyer receives and has the chance to review the product. It usually invovlves an inspection period of a couple of days to the buyer. If all is well the buyer releases the money to the seller. If not the buyer must return the item to the seller within a set time. The buyer can't get his money back from the escrow service until the seller receives the product back and releases the funds. The Buyer AND Seller are protected. There is a fee involved which you can agree to split with the seller. Any reputable seller would agree to using an Escrow transaction.
