I am sad to say I went to Apple a bought a 17" powerbook loaded, 3 months ago and paid $3200.00.

Good news, I sold it on ebay for $3000.00.

I'm sorry but I had to try the Apple thing.

Now, I am very interested in the XPS gen2 loaded, I just really liked the Apple powerbooks quality of the case and components.

Should I go for it, I want to use the laptop for everything and then some.

Please help,

That comparison is so funny. Hmmm. No weight comparison? No battery life? It compares the number of firewire ports but not USB 2.0 ports? Give me a break....

I think I've figured out where all the RMA'd units from Sager, HyperSonic and Eurocom end up. That would explain all the problems with AlienWare. Why they don't work so much of the time, why they take so long to ship (gotta wait on RMA stock). Just a theory.
