Rando191...I just finished reading this and I guess all I can say is I feel for you..if there is anyway any of us can help, then just ask and I am sure anyone here would do what ever it took to snag that shitbag...we have all learned a good lesson about shipping without cash in hand, meaning a cleared check...good luck man, I hope you can find that slimy shitball

nassaumike - well he is supposed to get me a tracking number on Thursday 1/13/05 for the return of my laptop as well as all the shipping i incurred. I'm still in a mess because that money was supposed to secure my tuition this qtr. Not that I want to sit here and play the violin to you guys but tuition is damn expensive! I can't have it sit on my credit card!

If anyone is interested in my Mayhem G2 please send me a PM or email (rando191@hotmail.com). I just hope it comes back safely... better yet... at least come back period! I also might have to consider selling my Toshiba M205-810 Tablet if money becomes an even BIGGER issue...

Thanks everyone, I hope to bring some good news tomorrow with a tracking number that works!

fobstarstruck, first I will correct you, I did not catch this thief, on the contrary he caught himself as he was like a drug addict and apparently could not stop himself from thieving even when he knew the next one was going to really hurt. Most scammers unfortunately are not so sicko and are able to control themselves better thus back off when the heat is on. This Jeremy fellow though does remind me of the same joe, especially with the family members dieing off. Truely though I felt like an ant moving about a pebble, but it was all those ants working together that made something. We got lucky by having an investigator take an interest and start a formal investigation and having it get into the system. Until this happens he is just somebody who never had a run in with the Police. I believe that is why he was able to make settlement the first time for being a first time offender even though he had scammed for at FIVE years. As for time it took for me was 34 months from the time I first emailed him to do this job till I received the Attorney General Form Letter. For the longest in our group, justice took well over 4 years.
Wow that is an insane amount of time. I can't believe it lasted that long. At least it was somewhat resolved.

If you know the guys name, just find out where he lives. Fly there, and knock on his door with a crowbar saying you want your computer back. If he doesnt agree, beat the hell out of him.
^^^

Finally someone thinking rationally.

If after you beat his ass, you dont find your laptop, take whatever you think is of value to him and destroy the house.
Better yet, find out where he lives. Fly there and find out information on his family, friends, work and either blackmail him or threaten to make someone he knows and cares about disappear. Pictures of a family member in his mail with very scary letter work miracles.

Go to the future when he's dead, dig up his grave and feast on his corpse.
Then go back to the present and show him pics of the ghoulish carnage.

Man you are brutal, you offer nothing to help, and you read LOL to men Laughing out Loud for those to lazy to type that, or as I would see just the way those people like to type what they mean.

A man posted, I responded, I did not ask for my 4th school English Teacher asking for help with my spelling. If spelling for this forum was important they would add a spell check button, but there is no such, I suggest you look for a board for a spell check button to not be annoyed so much or just ignore my post. Since we are posting where others respond with posts not related to the topic let me add.

http://notebookforums.com/showthread.php?p=620132#post620132

Why be so friggin cheap, this is a fair price, why even post you are not willing to pay the price. You obviously only will take that which is free or which you can brag is a fair price.

Instead of correcting my spelling which is more important than helping the original poster and adding something to help him I would suggest you are unhappy with something to complain about something so trivial as this. Do I care what you think. Normally yes and if I knew you in person for sure I would and would not event think of making such a post as this or say such to you in person. This thread is to help a man decide what to do about a $2000 poor decision, and I have made more than one of these and I can't no longer blame such for being young.

I found your post offensive and totally unecesarry and suggest you read more polite ways of responding to annoying posts like Lawson did when he posted
http://notebookforums.com/showpost.php?p=617560&postcount=76

I got Lawsons response and understood it, your response is definitely selfish, and you don't have the excuse of correcting selfish response button because that is one of character which I am sure this board has a reasonable expectation of having members have. At least I have the excuse of this forum not offering a spellcheck button because to err is human.

If spelling errors are so important then please read the dictionary, I am certain you will not be annoyed with spelling errors. It might be kind of boring but at least you will not be annoyed.

If you promise me to read the unabridged dictionary from cover to cover I will purchase this for you even though it costs several hundreds of dollars, but it will include a fine magnifying glass to use for other purposes.

I got to say you are a very rude person, correcting my spelling seems so petty and evil on a post where a young man lost $2000, I still don't get your point. Is this thread to serve your pleasure. If so I do not give a ****!

There is a young man that needs to decide to let a scammer take his money or do battle with him. STAY FOCUSED! YOU POST A MOST USELESS THREAD THAT ONLY AGITATES ME AND YOU KNOW THAT, AND YOU WENT AND DID IT ANYWAYS, WHY? If you are the scammer Jeremy and I find such, well we shall see????????

Rando, forgive me for stealing your post for one post, this is selfish of me, I hope you are more forgiving than I. I will only post my observation kpham83 has made all ten of his posts in the for sale section of this forum, not so unusual for a very smart scammer, though seriously though I only toy with such thoughts because this is just a rude person. He should be complaining to the admins of this forum for not having spell check but he does not for fear of offending someone that can ban him. How weak and pathetic is that.

Rando I am sorry for venting on your thread but this man totally annoys me for such a trivial matter that he could have just sent a polite PM as what most would do.

For your problem He is still lieing (safe bet 95%) if you have hope it could happen, if you count on it, it will hurt you and ruin any plans you make thinking payment of notebook return could happen. It is nice to vent, talk about action, even talk about violence-though such is not socially acceptable in reality and when the distinction is blurred will still get you in troulbe. How about making this next promise your drop dead final try. If he delivers great, if not decide to drop it as an expensive lesson learned or fighting and taking what it takes, a campaign, like getting a well paying job that included college-a four year degree-maybe longer if you want to be a doctor or lawyer-, that is the kind of devotion it takes to make a difference with a scammer like this, kind of like an obsession like I think I was afflicted with and why I would not recommend such. The recommendation to seek relief through your school is a really good type of recommendation you need to get here, they can help you or be brutally honest with you and tell you to get over it. For me it was the finallity of being scammed I had difficulty with and kept fighting. As I said if I did it over again I would have not even tried and instead knocked myself in the head for being an idiot who could not spell worth a shit.

I wish you the best my friend!

It would be good if the forum had a spell-checker, but it doesn't. It is therefore only polite to check your spelling before you post, and then again after you have posted. The forum does have an edit button.

Poor spelling and grammar are not only intensely annoying to the reader, but they also reduce the force and impact of your arguments.

... ... Please stay to the topic. and think how each of you would want the help of others at a time like this. Also, do everything in your powers to deal safely online. Trading and selling online is not bad. But keep in mind that there are scumbags that are not new to the idea of scamming people. stay informed of the best ways to deal online. -end transmission.

Well Jeremy has sent me NO tracking number. What am I to do? I have informed the Attorney General and the FBI... now what? Wait?

Does someone on this board live somewhere near Kaufman TX? Something has got to be done--- what is he trying to pull here!---- I've never been more angry in my life!

I know i'm asking for a lot, but i'm losing all of my patience... What can i do?

Would it make any sense to call the Chief of Police or Sheriff regarding all of this? Would they even believe my story?

if you're a college student what in the world are you doing with this kind of hardware? Mommy's Money?
why do people always act like that if someone has something nice they are jealous of? He could have a job for all you know...just bc he's in college doesn't mean he's poor and can't buy his own stuff. I hate when people act like you do and say stuff like that, JUST bc you're obvious jealous and can't afford something like that.
Well, if tution and fees cost about 10 grand/year, then room+board for 8 grand/year; then a car/et expenses at 8 grand/year, I don't see how any student can afford 2 grand laptops while going to school full time and working a PT job without some sort of external financial assistance.
its called student loans...and guess what...dont don't need to start paying them back until after your out of school. Also most of the time they give you more money than you need...so like i did...i build a sick rig and bought a Sager for myself...gotta love the loans

Hey Trixy, quit thread crappin. Just because you can't make a living, doesnt' mean other people can't. But I guess you already know that, which is why you're jealous.

God forbid you would ever do such a thing?

Check iin here. Look near the lounge room.

By the way, the last sentence in that post, well, isn't a sentence at all. Please use proper sentence structure and grammar in your posts or it annoys us and reduces the force and impact of your arguments.

See how much fun it is when someone picks on you for something minor?
