go for the ferrari, it's a great laptop, and you know what you're getting

the ibuypower s-turbo, aka uniwill 258kao is a very popular laptop on these forums, and it is possibly the best affordable DTR gaming-able lappy on the market right now. so far i had no problems with my laptop, had it for just under 1/2 year now. it is a tough system for what it's made of (plastic). if you take care of it, it will take care of you.

ibuypower got a bad rep from some "reviewers" but overall they are a solid company that is willing to answer tech support phone calls (can't say the same holds true for emails).

also, ibuypower uses brand name parts so if there is a bad apple in the bag, there will always be one, just hope it is not you.

to give you a rundown of manufaturers of my parts:
Chassis : Uniwill (2nd largest after Compal i believe...)
CPU: AMD
GPU: ATI
Ram: Kingston
Wifi: Gigabyte
HD: Hitachi/IBM
Mobo/Sound/Ethernet: SiS

honestly you can't go wrong with this laptop, maybe people on this forum have it and love it.

Sad thing about the IBUYPOWER laptop is the mobile AMD is not the low power version, unlike the Ferrari.

the sis motherboard that is used (as well as the American Megatrends bios 1.2) only supports 82w DTR and 62w Mobile (i might be +/- a few w off on the #) CPU, however it has no support for the 25W (is that right?) LV cpu.

to the best of my knowledge ibuypower uses the DTR version, however you can always call and confirm that (don't send an email, it won't get replied to)
