When I first read this thread, my response was "Come on, it is just below this thread. I was just looking at it. Here's the link. .... What the ? ...... Where did it go?" <G>

yeah it had almost 3,000 views in a very short time, very popular.

I too had just looked at it, then couldn't find it. I thought I was going insane or something, I then started reading each and every thread and every word to make sure I didn't skim over it.

Don't worry, you guys will hear about it again soon. Most likely Jan 6 to Jan 9 (This is when Intel announces the new Sonoma & the systems from 150 vendors w/ Sonoma chips.)

When exactly is the release date? I had heard the 12th?

At this time will the new systems that take advantage of this be released to public to see even if not ready to order yet?

I thought I read that the launch was going to be January 17th.????

I figured this would happen, so yesterday I archived the entire first page of that thread with all the slides/pics in a nice little .MHT file so I can have it for future reference.

well in all things good news because if this was removed at the request of DELL then it is pretty much verified as truth.

I'm waiting and see, exciting times indeed

I would have thought that a deleted thread would at least warrant a comment on why it disappeared. But that's just me.

Yup, sure enough, there it is. I don't know how I missed that one. Sorry folks.

PS - Thanks for pointing the message out to me.

I've always thought that this was a very friendly and helpful part of these boards and this reinforces my beliefs.

Unfortunately, I'm starting to have buyer's remorse and I haven't even got the thing yet!
