my 8887 problem...

My notebook computer does nothing when I press the power button...
....however the indicator light on the AC powerbox thingie flashes green and "beeps"....
I have tried removing the battery, unplugging...and then replacing battery and plugging with no success.
The only thing out of the ordinary was that I "hibernated" this morning (the last time the computer was on...)

any suggestions?

When you remove the AC power and the battery, you need to press and hold the power button down for 30 secs or so to clear the CMOS. Then plug it back in and see if that takes care of it.

thanks for the reply Adam..
unfortunately, i get the same "beeping" and flashing green light on the power brink....and nothing on the notebook...the indicator lights do not function.

what is the meaning of the flashing green light and beeping on the AC power brick?
