For anyone who has these types of "How do I remove..." questions, how about going to www.dell.com, clicking on "Customer Service and Support," then on (usually) "Home and Home Office," then on "User Guides," then on "Systems"?
Geez that looks pretty complicated..I was doing ok until the bit about removing the display bezel which looks pretty hard.
I was planning on asking for a replacement LCD for my current dodgy one but with the potential difficulty of swapping them over I think I might send the laptop back and get them to do it.
