Did you ship to a home address? Every shipper sucks for home delivery. Always deliver to a business address, if your employeer will allow that. (assuming you are employeed ) UPS and especially FedEx puts business class packages far ahead of home or personal ones every time.

my employer doesn't allow personnal delivery anymore so I have no choice.
I never had any problem with Fedex while UPS has always been late or sending packages to the wrong place. At least I know that now the package is in the Bay Area so I just have to be more patient.

Adam from the review it looked like the gpu in the 7620 was the exact same size as the one in the 9860 could you be a big pal and compare them side by side and see if they are compatible with each other also would that black heatsink thingy now put over the gpu in the 9860 could you also see if it fits in the 7620

if this all does fit tht would mean we could stick the 6800 ultra in here hehehe

they could mail us the 6800 ultra and the black metal plate thingy and clevo would be none the wiser and we all be uber happy

accually now i am very sure as on eurocom they offer the 7620 with the 6800 which probably means that the 6800 ultra will fit in it also

btw why doesn't sager offer the 7620 with the 6800

also now that there is ddr 533mhz ram out will that work in the 7620

I thought about it, but I can't wait anymore. I am currently on a 300MHZ(give or take) iMac G3 that barely runs. I really need a new computer and I like that 7620. Since I have other obligations tonight, I will order tommorow sometime.

Btw, has anyone tried using SB Audigy 2 ZS Notebook with Sager 7620?

I've noticed that Eurocom offer this model with both screen options - 15.4' widescreen and 15" UXGA; as well as 3 gpu options - ati, nvidia and nvidia quadro. so is there any chance to get it with 15" screen from Pctorque after all? and maybe even Nvidia card?

PC Torque is offering Nvidia cards on the 7620 now

yepp, I've noticed now the only thing this machine is missing is 15" non-widescreen

I'd be willing to live with the 15.4 inch. But I would much rather have a 15 inch w/o the widescreen *pokes at the pct guys*

Sager never started carrying the 4:3 version of this laptop... IMHO... I think the 15" 4:3 is dead now, long live the wide screens.

The 7620 will not support the extra power or heat disapation requirements of the Ultra.

First I'm pretty much a NoOb to laptops. One of the reasons I'm looking at purchasing one is for mobile entertainment to include video games like BF2 and the like. I noticed that the Sager 7620 has a tv tuner option. Is this a good idea for a laptop? Is it worth the money vs. problems? Also how hard is it to upgrade ram on the laptop and what is it's max capacity? Thanks
