Ok i was so excited for my alienware to arrive before xmas that i forgot, even once it did arrive I could not see,it,touch it or play with it! I understand how painful it is watching the phases, checking about 3-5 times a day to see if it changes then suddenly bam from phase 3 to phase 9 in no time!
It arrived dead on schedule! I was amazed after reading some reports of people waiting months for theirs! So on the delivery kind of view i give it 10/10 Alienware do realise how excited you are about getting your alienware so they kept me updated constantly, top marks for that , and even phoned me to say it had been shipped!
Ok enough of the delivery and phase part of it time to get down onto it!
Christmas day came, it was truely amazing! The box was enormous!! The packaging was unbelievable i think if you dropped it off a 20 story building it wouldnt scratch! Struggling in getting it out my dad helped :P My first impressions were amazing! I had seen many pictures on these forums but being with the real thing after months of planning and weeks of anticipation it was here! The wait was well worth it!
I plugged it in with everything wired up ready to go, 321.... I pressed the power button.... nothing happened then i noticed my dad laughing as he noticed i had not turned to psu on ROFL!!
So after solving my "idioticness" i counted down again and it was amazing... That I cannot describe! The fans went into motion and the red eyes glared at me, seconds later it was at the desktop with "ALIENWARE" written across the background! Here it hit me really for the first time, it was my precious, and no one else could touch it!
Playing the first ever game on it.
The first game i played was half life 2. I was a bit worried that if i started playing it i would not notice any difference and then break down into tears realising i wasted my money! This was definately not the case! It was amazing i jumped thinking that the guards with batons were really going to hit me, it was fantastic!! So anyone worried about it not being better than ur previous PC DONT! For they are everything they are made out to be!
I could ramble on about how good they are and how many times a day i get cought hugging and kissing it LOL! But that would be no point. I will just give my overall thoughts.
Overall thoughts : Service: Brilliant kept me updated all the time, arrived at estimated date, and the staff are well mannered and realise how much you care about everything being perfect.
Performance: Well all I can say it lived up to what it was meant to be and more! Out of this world gaming!
Style: The case is amazing! The colour conspiracy blue is way better in real life lovely blue! If you are wondering wether or not to get alienice, y ponder about it for only £30 or so more you get these mean eyes which make the hairs on the back of you neck stand up! It is well worth the extra cost!
I would recommend Alienware to anyone who wants an "out of this world gaming machine" after all they are made by aliens :P I give alienware 10/10 and please dont think iam just saying that for no reason it really is amazing!
