Crikey - HP goes nuts with the 17 incher - Page 2

Hmm... that's weird. On HP order page it said 533FSB... If it's 800FSB then it would be awesome.

It refers to the HP Pavilion zd7001us, the first of the zd7000 Series. The top version, not yet released, will have the 800FSB and, best of all, the FXGo5600 128MB! The zd7001us only has the "normal" 64MB version...

I wonder if they are doing the same nasty trick Toshiba used: underclocking the graphics card because of heat problems!
If not, then we should see some new benchmarks about FxGo5600 vs MR9600... I bet Nvidia's card won't score so bad as in the previous benchmarks, don't you think?

Note: NVidia released its new Detonator drivers! 45.23 WHQL! Go get them!

Found another specs PDF, this time with full specs, for the zd7001us:

here's the link: http://hpshopping.speedera.net/www.s...pdf/dm793a.pdf

There's one issue here: the zd7001us doesn't have SPDIF output, so digital sound to no one, unfortunately...

I hope the top version, with the FxGo5600 128MB, includes SPDIF, My digital speakers are anxiously waiting for it!
