8880 Keyboard Bios... (How can I power up 8880)

Through combination of stupidity and tiredness I've flashed a Clevo 8880 H8 Keyboard Bios with the wrong file. (Doh) and now my 8880 won't power on at all.

Would anyone know how to get the board powered up so that I can reflash it with an H8 Keyboard Bios that will work?

Next question - does anyone have an H8 Keyboard Bios that will work?

At the moment the raw 8880 motherboard is stripped down raw on my lab workbench waiting to have the right pins shorted...

Thanks

Bugger
I suspect a call to Sager might be the best option dude.

I believe at this point you only have two option (been where you are now with a different Sager Laptop). You can order a new BIOS chip from Sager (About $50) provided that it is not soldered in or you can ship the unit back to sager so that they can replace or reload the EPROM.

Ah - No - I think the Keyboard Bios is held in a surface mounted H8 Micro-controller - so removal is not an option. From what I have found out there are flashers around that can re-program the H8 while still on board. Hopfully I'll be able to rename my 8880 laptop Lazarus once I've been able to blow new brains into the H8 microcontroller.
