If you are looking for a good case, get one with a clear side like case
. It's cheap and ok for what you want to do.
for a proccessor this will do you well. cpu
for a mobo this is good mobo
this graphics card will get you through what you need it too and more graphics card
heres a good dvd burner(does everything) dvd burner

big enough hard drive HDD
hot fans, they are blue LED. get about four of them fans
cheap sound card sound
Tis is all assuming you have an OS and and a monitor and speakers. These are good parts, not too expensive and the look is very cool, which is what you were looking for. Keep us updated on what happens. You can also check out my thread on ym computer. It's something like " My first built computer" and it's in here. You are welcome in advance.
Jack...I hate to break it to you, but that system you picked out isn't all that great (and half the time doesn't even make sense).
Case: Fine, doesn't look too bad at all.
Mobo: How could you suggest such a POS to this poor man? Syntax is not really an exemplary brand. here's what you want: MSI 865PE mobo
Videocard: Again, wtf? the motherboard is an AGP based chipset and you suggest a PCI Express card to him? here's what you'll want.
CPU: Nice, although Prescott isn't quite the best.
DVDRW: Schweet. I have one on order myself.
RAM: Not too bad.
HDD: Good brand, price and size.
Cooling: Very cool, but 8.49 for case fans? Umm...bit expensive there.
Soundcard: Not that great, but it'll do. For a better one, might i suggest the Audigy 2 Value
or the Audigy 2 ZS?
If you've got the money, I'd recommend the ZS because of the Firewire port and better sound quality.
For a monitor, I recommend the Neso Pixo A700 (not sure of the model number) 17" LCD at newegg, as it's nice, bright, got a good response time, and is only $225 (damn cheap for a 17" LCD). For speakers, Logitech Z640 5.1 surround speakers at www.JustDeals.com
($35 and free shipping). For an OS, a copy of XP Pro will do you well (or Home if you're cheapish). For a mouse and keyboard, I'd recommend the Logitech Cordlesss MX Duo from JustDeals again. Very nice.
