I need some help figuring out what size power supply i will need with these parts:
2x512MB Kingmax DDR-400
Athlon 64 3000+ socket 939
Gigabyte GeForce 6600gt 128mb
Gigabyte NForce4 motherboard
Any tips would be helpful. My limit is approx. $600 and i am a little over that ATM.
My priority is for it to be good at gaming now, but have lots of headroom, hence the 939 and PCI-E.

Well basically go through and add up the wattage requirements for each part.

1. AMD Athlon 64 3000+

-Max Power State: 89W
-Intermediate Power State: 66W
-Minimum Power State: 35W

Argh the others are hard to find. The usual sugestion is 400W, but you will probaly want to go about 500W to be safe. If you can find the power requirements for all the parts, get a power supple that has between 10-50 more watts than you need.

Ya, i couldn't find the requirements for each anywhere. The thing is, I wanted to get an Antec Micro-ATX case to put all the stuff in, but it looks like the included 300 watt PSU won't be enough. Plus i have to wait for a micro-atx nforce, but whatever.
