It's been aproximately 2 months now since I placed an order for this awsome machine (area 51 7700 mobile). I have been calling Alienware 3 times a week ever since I ordered it to make sure all is well. I have been receiving official e-mail from Alienware telling me I am in production (that was during Christmas). My order has been on phase 2 on the order status web page, but I was told that it's moving on, that billing department is all "GO". Yet each time I called after New Year Day I was told different things... the latest one "your computer hasn't entered production yet." HUH?!?!? I was quoted 2 weeks on Friday, January 8th. My computer is 2 weeks overdue as is, and I have to wait 2 weeks on top of that. Don't get me wrong...Alienware makes a great product, however the communication between all the internal departments and between the consumer is extremely nonexistent. I personally know that Alienware has lost a lot of anxious people waiting in line to buy the next best system. I don't want to cancel my order and I know I will wait, but I thought I would share this with you all...I KNOW I AM NOT ALONE IN THE LONG OVERDUE PHASE GAME. If anyone from Alienware is on these forums I would like you to personally take a look at my issue. PM me if possible so I can relay more information your way. Thank you.
