Reading some threads, I came across "LDiracDelta" post. He goes on to say that he had the same problem and sager tech support told him to flick the backlight switch with a pencil. Did it and all is well. I guess with the MB replacment the switch was doing the aposite of what it should of been doing. Anyway happy camper here. I consider this matter closed. Thanks for everyones help and support.
