No more Standby/Hibernate on Inspiron 1000 after BIOS update

Ever since the last 2 BIOS updates... I haven't had the choice in the Shut Down Computer menu to select Stand By, or to even hit shift and hit Hibernate..... someone help me!!! Thanks!

The same thing happened to me when I reformatted... I think you need to install the chipset driver.

at the dell support downloads, chipset isnt an option in the categories....

it's an intel chipset driver.
