mr9800 locking up my computer?

Before installing the MR9800 I was playing HL2 and CS:source on my 64mb 9700 without any problems.

After the upgrade my laptop will occasionally lockup during a gaming session. HL2/CS:Source will freeze and it wont let me end task. The only thing I can do is reboot the lappy.

Does anyone else experience this? I've downloaded the drivers from the dell site when I got the card. Here are my specs too just in case:

3.0 9100
512 Ram
80 gig HD(no clue what speed it is)

Please run a search on the forum using 'lock' or 'lockups' etc. This has been discussed quite a few times and there is good information out there
