8790/Win XP executable shortcut to kill LCD?

I'm trying to find the executable which makes the LCD go black. There must be one- power management will do it after a specified idle time.

I'd like to bind it to a key- maybe the 3rd extra hotkey on the top silver row (the user configurable one).

Anybody know where this function lives in WinXP?

Would be nice to also mute the speaker with the same keypress-- maybe bind that key to a batch file or something...

well, there's a function key that switches between monitors. maybe it'll just turn the lcd off if there's no other monitor attached. worth a shot.
