Called it mobius for several reasons.
All my laptop hostnames have a transportable theme to them, thus in the past: rover, satellite, gypsy, vagabond, sailor etc.
My first 8890 was called antonov after the company that makes the largest aircraft flying - the AN-225 heavy lifter.
So why mobius - well I read an article in the Australian Business Review Weekly (BRW) about a guy called Mr Mobius - he works for the World Bank/IMF/BIS/God. He basically spends his time flying around the world and dropping governments to their knees. Hey great theme I thought for a Sager laptop. Secondly mobius relates to the one sided continuous strip as described in topology. Since the second 8890 had to do with business continuity the hostname mobius had a double meaning
