Hypersonic or Sager 4670

I think I have decided on the 4760 model, but I am not sure if I should buy it at pctorque for 2300 or go to hypersonic and get it painted and spend about 2800.

Does anyone know about the tech support of hypersonic? Do they have the same warranty as pctorque? Do they fix LCDs if there are major problems with the dead pixels in the center?

It would be cool to have a red metallic paint on my lappy but is it worth the money? Will I lose in support too?

Thanks
Brandon

If you think about all the accesories you could get with 500 dollars would you rather have those or a painted laptop? The non painted 4670 still looks really good IMO. Personally I would either save the money or buy some good upgrades. It's wahts inside the laptop that counts...right?

It's hard not to promote PCTORQUE , but paint jobs are definitely coming soon, and I can safely say they won't cost you $500.00 . I am not sure whether or not the 4760 will get the benefit of having a paint job as an option, but I can't see any logical reason why it wouldn't? If you can wait a bit longer I would recommend you do so.

I haven't heard anything negative about Hypersonic , but compared to PCTORQUE they just don't have that "You're an important customer feel" to them you know. It's hard to explain , but maybe you should call them up , talk to some of their people and see what you think.

can someone provide a link to Hypersonic? i've googled for about 168574 minutes and cannot find their url. there are loads of reviews of the thier systems, but, for some reason, even the reviewers omit the url of the company. i think it's a big secret. i promise i wont tell.

The 4670 will NOT have a paint option. It was stated that it was too risky to be taken apart to be painted and Sager wouldnt not grant the warranty.

As far as I know only the 8890 and 5680 series will get paintjobs.
