Thanks for the tip as I'm sure there are many people out there looking for a solution.
However, not all of them are paper stickers... some are a plastic or maybe even a metal (i know my old PIII sticker the Quantex put on my case was). Do you think the solution to the problem would be similar?

Hi,
I have an Aurora City 17 too since Christmas 2004, it's an awesome computer !!
I installed the catalyst 5.2 and I have 8062 at 3dmark05
I use it for working (movies productions 2D 3D and it's the heaven to work on it)
I will install Windows 64bits soon.

The City 17 is : Fx-55, 2 raptors 10000t/s, x800-xt, 2GB in dual Channel

first off, is your x800 the platinum edition? I have the same computer but with a 6800 ultra and the highest I can get is a little over 5700. It almost looks like you have dual cards with that score. How can I get scores like that?

I don't know if it's the x800-xt platinium edition but I had 6379 in 3dmark05 with the catalyst 5.1 (try to update your grafic card's driver ?)
p.s : I had 800fps on the shader test of 3dmark05.

For 3dmark03 I have 18703.

Damn, that score is amazing, but getting it at 1600x1200 is nuts. Somethings not right here, i need to be getting 8000 now....Anyways, his computer recognizes his as a platinum because thats what it is. Its clocked a lot faster than a standard x800.

I'm calling a huge Photoshop Hosejob here. That's just not possible man...I'd love to think its possible but come one...look at the Futuremark pages, no one is getting those scores with the X800XT

Well, if it is legit than please post a CPUZ screen. I would LOVE to see what is going on there and how I can mirror some of your settings. If it is a Photochop then may gay midgets invaid your orifices while you sleep.
