I need Help with my Ibuypower Laptop

I bought a Battalion 101 S-Turbo [AMD]-2 from ibuypower


AMD athlon-64 3400
1 GB Ram
60GB 7200rpm
3D Premium Surround Sound Onboard
Ati Radeon 9700 pro

Well my question is when i have sound playing in the background for a long time like a 1 1/2 hour to 2 hours the sound just cut out and my laptop experiences extreme lag and something it freezes. the only way i been able to solve this either restart the computer or put it to sleep then turning it back on again.

does any one of you have this type of laptop and experiences this problem? any one know what the problem might be?

p.s i have reinstalled the software that runs my sound card and it dont seem to do anything.

sounds like a driver issue with the software your using.

try using new drivers for your graphics card too (try the radeon omega drivers) - works wonders for Halflife 2/doom3
