My first 9860 had a stuck blue pixel in the lower right corner. I had a problem with the 9860 and tech sent me a new one and that one has a stuck red pixel on the left half of the screen about in the middle. I'm not very impressed with Sagers screens! They look great with no stuck pixels I bet but I don't have any luck with them I guess.

I had a stuck blue pixel in the upper RH corner of mine. I RMA'D it yesterday and have a new one on order. I had one before that that had a perfect screen and it was very nice.
Now that it's taking so long to get my new one (still on back order as far as I know). I'm likely going to RMA it for the DDR3 version of the 6800 and I hope the WUXGA screen is available at that time. Then, I'll call it quits as long as the screen is good.
I work on mine everyday, all day, and these laptops aren't cheap so I'm picky about having a good screen. My 5680 had one stuck pixel. I decided to live with it and regretted that decision.

You'd notice a hot pixel any time you have a dark background and it is the opposite for a dead pixel. They stand out quite a bit to me. You don't have to look for them.
Notice the dark background at the top and sides of this page. If you had a stuck/hot pixel in one of those areas you'd notice a little light bulb that was always on and you can never turn it off. It's annoying to me. Other people are fine with it. It's one of those 'your own opinion' things.
I've seen people in the forum mention programs that are used to detect them, but never tried them.

Seems many people got stuck or dead pixels with their 9860.
Mine had a stuck red pixel IMO right on the verge of the "sager" pixel policy 2inches down from the web cam and one inch to the left (cannot be missed). When I RMA'd it (38bux shipping) for the fan problem and the pixel I got mine back with a new bios, too bad its not in the middle, and some very noticable/large scratches on the top lid. And to top it all off my machine being an 84xxxx serial'd machine needed a thermal plate added to it for graphics expandability which COULD have been done when it was in for RMA, but wasn't!
Also this fan "fix" bios isn't even really a final fix so that sucks as well.
When I RMA'd I had only the UPS tracking number as a status, they never bothered to email me anything until I queried them as to what/when/where things were.
So watch out when sending yours in, you may not be receiving it back in the same condition.
Needless to say I am not too happy with Sager atm.
