£2487.48

RockDirect Xtreme Ti Spec:

1 - I have never heard of RockDirect before
2 - I am a fan of Alienware
3 - From reading posts in this forum I can see how Alienware can be great

I think the price difference isn't too big concidering both purchases have a big price tag, so in this case I will go for the big name Alienware, although I think RockDirect will also be a great choice.

I also like the Alienware and the 7700 but the price and spec swayed it for me with the Rock

Enjoy your 7700 mate.

No one has a 7700 in the UK and I believe all are in phase 2-3.
AW is taking long because of missing parts and "new orders".
Well thats just bloody great, you think they would tell you that when you place the order, by the time we get them there will probably be something new out

They do say, look at the website and you will see many of the parts have limited availability. But things should start moving soon, we are angry because the people who pre-ordered aren't getting the priority...

Read the posts I made and you will understand the situation better.

Just to add to your cheer..... i ordered 7700 on 5th january but after reading these forums decided not to wait and cancelled yesterday.... interesting thing is they offered to bump me to the front of the queue if i didn't cancel.... well i don't like that and i cancelled anyway....but some of you might like to give it a try!!

totalBonker, I am getting my laptop on Monday, as DHL failed to deliver it on Friday (only recieved the sound system), but maybe if you still want the 7700, a later order will be a better process.
