ZYr,

You might want to check out http://www.x1000forums.com/index.php as most of your quesitons have been covered there, and many more that you may have.

You can install any standard 2.5 HD (normally used in notebooks) in the X1000.

Full Disclosure: I've ordered an X1000 so I am no longer completly objective in my thinking. heh...

yeah, thanks doomer.. i found that site last night..reminds me of the mercedes benz forums.. hehe.. i ended up just ordering it.. I talked to the guy and decided on a config.. but then he screwed up my address. when i called tech support they said dont worry about it.. it will get to me some way or another.. but that wasnt very assuring.. they told me to call fedex myself and deal with it.. but fedex isn't very helpful either.. so i dunno what to do..

Very nice rig! I would get on the phone and make sure they correct your address, or soon you'll be one of the disgruntled posters out there with a subj line like "Where's my new lappy?"

Good luck!
