Power Options - Turn off LCD - Won't turn back on

Just curious if anyone is having this issue. I did a search and only came up with one post with 1 reply which stated the A02 Bios fixed it (Which it hasn't for me). So, here is the issue:

In the Power Options portion of the Display Setttings, if i set it to "turn off LCD (monitor)" after, say 1 minute, or 10, the LCD powers down, but it won't turn back on, no matter what I do, however, the machine is still running and everything. I'm running the A05 Bios, with the Omegas. I also had this issue when I was running the Dell drivers. Any info would help, because sometimes it would be nice to keep the machine on but power down the LCD

I Have the same problem, and if you hit the power button like it says you shoud, the computer shuts down. what I do is just close the lid and the computer goes into sleep mode. When you reopen the lid the computer kicks back on, have you checked your settings in the QuickSet program ?

I have the same problem. Fn+z used to work, but now it does not. I just set my LCD to never turn off and use hibernate when I leave it for a while.

I had this happen to me as well. It usually happens when I haven't done a true restart in a while (I hibernate most of the time).

Hibernation

Sounds like everyone is having this same thing happen, and fixing it by either closing the lid or hibernating. I'm a hibernator, but it takes forever for the computer to boot back up. Maybe the next OS will fix this issue...
