and in this post, Adam says that the silver 300zx belongs to his wife

just thought I'd come back from the dead for that one... I don't know if anyone was confused

edit : btw, I'm only assuming I got all that stuff right
edit2 : dang, ratha.net seems to be a functioning site no longer, so i guess you'll have to take my word for that part

I'm the guy on the Left hand side and this is my first post. Going to get the 47** 800fsb model when it comes out in October. Good thing My student loan was delayed or else i'd be on a cheap Toshiba. I've been looking at this site for a few months now and am definetly impressed with PCtorque enough to where i'm gonna buy from them even though there are cheaper places to buy.
Where?
Sorry can't tell cause it's against rules, but the sites arent nearly as professional looking as PCtorque's and its only $50 cheaper which i'll gladly pay in order for the service PCtorque gives.

Yeah i remember cruising around powernotebooks.com for a while thinking "this is where i'm going to get my Sager." Later i searched and found pctorque, and while their prices were better i was a little worried about purchasing from them, after all i had never heard of them and....i dono, just always a little wearey of buying from not well know web sites. But the SECOND i found these forums my mind was changed. Just goes to show you the drawing power of these forums

I agree with karatekid3d about these forums and PCTorque.
Great work Adam.

Being a few thousand miles from front line support made me worry about buying a Sager but then after talking to HP Australia about the x1000 and getting nowhere, I figured Adam would be much better support even though he is further away.

To get back on topic here is my pic - taken out near the Olgas (about 100km from Ayers Rock) in Australia's dead centre.

And as to cars - why don't you guys get real ones (ie. European) like an Alfa Romeo (originally misspelt it - been working on DEC Alphas for too long)

Or better still an exotic like the Lotus Esprit Turbo

LOL, I don't think she's available... And I doubt Adam would be very happy with you or her if she accepted...

Lotus' own
Nice cars Aussie, very nice. I agree, Lotus is THE car. Only thing as good is a Porsche and nothing can take anything away from the classic 911. One possible is a car a friend of mine in college had, a Fiat-Abarth 2000. It was the Fiat 850 fast back, the first and one of the nicest looking fastbacks with an Abarth 2000 cc V8, 4 valves per cylinder, dohc, blown and fuel injected, tuned exhaust by Abarth, of course all driving a 6 speed ZF box. Man, was that a fun car. Up to 60 mph, it would blow away anything short of a fuel dragster, up to 90 it was still pretty hot. The gearing was for short rally courses, like in Italy, with straight runs less than 500 meters and lots of hair pins, so it wasn't much on the high end, speedwise, maybe 120 tops.

But Lotus is still THE car. Ah, memories of a Super 7 in the Santa Cruz mountains or running down Big Sur.

only pic i could find... its from 4th of july...

nice tattoes Junk

as for cars I would want the 1942 Ford Highboy with suicide doors and a rumble seat. But...the car I WILL get is a simple jeep. and rip off the doors. I road in one with a painting mentor of mine and believe me its much better than a closed car. To look to your left or right and see the gravel moving at 60mph next to you is a thrill. I used to ride a motorcycle but this is twice as safe and half as much insurance and 3x the fun.

Now we are WAY off subject.
