Wowee batman .

What sort of camera did you use to take the pic Gillespie?
I just saw the image on my 8890 and like wow!!!! (Did I ever tell anyone I love the LCD on my 8890?)

You may have been aware of the threads about artifacts in images and its effect on the 8890 vs 5680 LCD's (search for the keyword "blotchyness"). What an excellent test pic. I hope you don't mind me taking a copy for use as a demonstration pic.

Where exactly were you? Looks spectacular.

And congrats on the 5680 purchase. You will love it when it comes.

And btw for anyone else - absolutely no blotchyness .

Except I doubt he has to try and take pictures of himself by balancing a camera on a mirror in his bathroom

The light in there makes my skin look awful, but still, it could have been worse...... (like my University photo, oh god).

Hey, have at it, I don't mind one bit about using the pic as demonstration. As far as the equipment, I was using my Fujifilm 2300, that's the cam that can take the torture while I attempt to snowboard (fall) down black diamond summits. As for the location, I was in Kaprun Austria, up on top of a glacier. The way up was hard, but the way down was REALLY hard. That was the hardest slope I've ever boarded. Germany is close, but the Alps in Austria are where it's at. Btw I bought the Sager to use on a tour through the Middle East. I plan to have way more kickass pics on there. I just started my webpage like last week. If you wanna check out more pics look at this.

Great pics Gillespie. Thanks for the link. It would seem you are having quite a trip. I have to say the Fuji camera is doing a fine job. Enjoy .

I be Ugly! (and a Newb)

Not at all Warden (ugly that is). Welcome to the fray. I find it fascinating that most men think they are ugly - yet women still marry us . I have met some of what women call "hunks" and I can tell you those guys are absolute bastards. Us average looking types are imho a much better version of the male of the species.

Still...we could all do with a little less beer

NO FUKKIN WAY!!!
haha yeah contrary to common thought beer doesn't make people look less ugly. It just makes you not give a @$#!

Thank YOU Doug Stanhope

KIDS? You mean, "young adults" right? Or is it "teens" still? I can't keep up with "correct terms" anymore.
