Got some info on the new LG LM70. Looks very impressive, if a little pricey:
Pentium M 750 (1.86 GHZ - Sonoma)
XP Pro
15" SXGA+
ATI Radeon X600 128MB
DDR2 512MB (533) (1x512 setup)
80G(SATA) HDD
DVD Multi drive
802.11bg
3yr wty standard
5.1 lbs
1 inch thick
This is the most complete package I have seen from a "ready to sell" Sonoma notebook so far - as far as features combined with light weight (5.1 lbs!!), size, and the standard warranty is a very nice extra that helps justify the price. It is also nice that LG is going with 1 stick of 512 to make it easier/cheaper to upgrade.
EDIT: I made a mistake and originally called this the LM50, but it is a new model based on the same platform as the LM50, called, itself, the LM70.
The LM70 is actually slighly less than 1in thick. Here is the limited info LG has on their website (all of the rest of the info above, except the thickness stands), but there are some pictures:
