Red Hat Kernel Compatibility

Thread Starter
I have an application that runs on older version of RH (pre-7.2), which I would like to install in RH9. Is this possible? If so, where do I begin? Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards,
Cris

it depends on the program itself; whether it's binary or source, whether it requires a kernel module and therefore is kernel-version-dependent, whether it depends on a specific version of a library or just the presence of any version of the library, etc. what program is it?
