I have a Toshiba Tecra TE2100 and for some reason my scroll buttons go away most of the time when the laptop goes into sleep mode. It's an accupoint system with separate buttons for left-click, right-click, scroll up and scroll down. There is no touchpad...

I don't even know how to begin troubleshooting this problem. If I close the lid and leave the laptop for a couple hours, it will come up with no scroll buttons. The Device Manager no longer lists the mouse as an accupoint, but a standard two button mouse...

Does Windows redetect hardware upon resuming from sleep? Could this be a BIOS issue?

Any step in the right direction would be most apprciated...
