Ordered New 8886

Hi folks! I'm new to this forum and Sager. Currently using a Dell I7500, I was ready to buy a new I 8200 and I discovered Sager. by way of checking out eBay, Alienware, VooDoo, and a few other links that popped up on Google. WOW!!! am I glad I found out about this best kept secret. For less than a 2.2 ghz Dell with 512 and one HD, I'm getting a new 8886 with 2.8, 1GIG, and dual HD, 40 and 60!!! PLUS all the neat stuff that goes with it. I ordered Friday from PCTorque, and I am looking forward to getting it when I get back from vacation Friday. An email from Adam indicated it should ship Monday! I'm very excited about this, as I received GTA3, Mafia, and MS Combat Flight Sim 3!!! This old I7500 doesn't even come close to "running" those!
Anyhow, I just wanted to post this by way of an introduction, and to share my excitement. I've been lurking here for about a week and EVERYONE on this forum seems like a great bunch of people!

Nice, welcome to the forums, i was just like you a week ago..however my parents have decided that i have to learn patience before i can buy the laptop now...bah humbug..now i just roam the forums, hoping for that fated day will come when i can buy it..no im not an obsessive freak with any disorders...or i hope not

Yes, welcome. I also almost ordered a Dell 8200. I got a 5660 instead. Glad you found the Sager machines and this forum. Everyone here is great.

I'm in the same jam as you LostMortal, except its a money, as well as patience thing. I have to save up my own money and probably get my own job if I want a Sager. No biggie, I'll do whatever it takes.

welcome, me i 'm just waiting that PCTORQUE buy the shop near my house (in France) and open the European Sager Corp.

Welcome to the forums! As was said, and as you'll prolly read a million times, if you need any help you'll find it here. Or just to gather with your fellow sagerites :-) It's a great place. You'll LOVE the 8886, lol.

lol well i dont got a job so i gotta save all the cash that i aquire..which is very little...and my parents are very lazy...because i want to transfer the money from my account to theirs and they want to wait for some odd reason..


...and lol! i get to go to about any country i want to for free (they pay for everything! including spending money)as a summer program because of this school program im in but my parents wont let me!...
