It doesn't have anything to do with sharks, though my avatar is a shark...

I'm a civil engineer and I design and build houses. I prefer to use hammers to nailguns, so my local lumber yard guys called me a dinosaur for a while, then changed to calling me Hammerhead due to my hammer use and personality...

Hey Trivium nate...

I'm doing fine, thanks for asking...

Just had another blood test, and it's normal. It's been about two and a half years since my diagnosis and surgery, if I get to five years without a recurrance of cancer, I'm considered cured.

So a couple more years of quarterly blood tests, yearly CT scans and colonoscopies then I'll just have to be screened every couple years.

I'm new here, and of course I don't know who hammerhead is, but it's truly saddening to hear anyone having to go through this. My best wishes to him and Judy and I hope everything works out in our favor.

If you want wind up sticking around these parts at the Alienware Section then you will definately get to know Hammerhead quite well as he has helped pretty much everyone with something or other and even without knowing it helped me decide to purchase my aurora m9700 back in october last year. Truly someone to appreciate and respect.

Thanks guys...

Turns out I didn't have the gluten allergy, just some wierd liver numbers after chemo, so I'm able to eat bread, cake, cookies, pizza... I was worried there for a bit.
