Asus A3

do you guys recommend this laptop, i cant seem to find any reviews anywhere, can the asus laptop owners on these tell me the biuld qaulity of asus' and what kind of ram they use

I've seen one of these in person and I think it's a fairly nice notebook. Compared to my M6, it's not as wide - it almost looks "long" in a sense. As for quality.. it's ASUS, and you can't really go wrong there. If the price is right, I say go for it

2 ASUS M6 owner here, from Taiwan too
1st one has battery problem (it's known), replaced in Taiwan easily
2nd one, LCD RMA'ed in 1 day, overnight back (sending to California took 2 weeks though)

Weird to have 100% problem rate, but 100% fixed rate is just awesome
I love their quality & service, and love Made In Taiwan laptops

I owned a old Asus A1000 (p3-650) too, still usable. My gf has M2, pretty light & good as well
