If you do sell your lappy, make sure to put in the amount you need as a reserve...do not do a no reserve auction since you really need the money. Say that you will not ship out of the USA, and that payment must be completely processed(meaning the money in YOUR actual bank account) before you will ship the system. So that means no shipping until any credit card payments, personal checks, money orders have been thoroughly processed and into your account. That will really help protect against scammers.

Also, just because it's paid for through Paypal, watch out. If you sell your Lappy and receive pymt through Paypal, you could still lose the money in the end like I did. Whatever you do, make sure you ship it to a confirmed address. I sent mine overseas because this guy wanted it shipped to a close friend as a birthday present. 3 Months Later, Paypal contacted me and said that the funds I received were fraudulent and they deducted the transaction from the laptop. My account ended up being $1100 negative because of it. In my opinion, Paypal should research the whole deal before even crediting the funds to my account or take responsibility for it since they gave me the funds, but they obviously don't feel the same way. I got totally screwed because of their policies.
