He is right!! Look!!! I got mine replaced too!!!

Here is my I9300

How convient, he cant post an image of the laptop itself. I did this by going in and making a change to the oeminfo.ini file located in the system32 directory. It took me longer to take the picture, than to make the change. The machine I did this on is actually my 8600. My wife is using my 9300. opps, my 9200!!

He said that his case said this also though. And he also said he did not have a camera, but he took a photo of his desktop. This issue could be resolved by showing a picture of the laptop itself.

well he didn't take a picture of his desktop, it was a screenshot.

This is wild...

It would have been better to take a picture of the i9200 and photoshop the the 9200 label to 9300. That would really get some people going.

due to popular demand
i chose to speak :P i had promissed dell not to say anything.
but they kinda gave me a i9300 instead of the i9200 i ordered back durrin XMAS.

heres the proof

I'm what you would call a skeptical person.

If you are proficient at sophistocated 3D modeling, as evidenced on your personal website, how are we to believe that you didn't perform some simple 2D image manipulation to "create" a I9300?

Take the computer apart and show us the CPU, or the GPU, or the motherboard. You know, something that can't easily be manipulated with Photoshop or MSPaint even :-)

How come it has an x800 - don't the 9300's come with 6800 go's??
haha, that is kinda skeptical picture, but alexrud, if you have experience with photoshop or mspaint, or coral you would also know its very easy to manipulate picture :-) personallly i ahve 8600, i can easiely make the picture to look like XPS, and convince my friend too, just to let ya know
