New hardware-Windows error code12....

I've got an Alienware Area-51 766 3Ghz laptop running Win Xp home with latest updates and have just bought a Life view FlyDVB-T Duo digital tv card that slots into the PCMCIA slot. After installing the tv card and software I went to open the program but it said DTV card not found. I went into device manager and next to this device is a yellow exclamation mark with this next to it'This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)', I put this into google and found this:

Not exactly the same hardware but similar problem, but the link to the fix doesn't seem to be there. Does anyone know what the problem is or have a fix.

Basicly saying that you have 2 devices trying to use the same resources.
Whenever i have had this happed,i just reformat and reinstall windows,but thats not always a option for everyone.

I can't make head nor tail of that(on the microsoft site). I think it is a windows issue though as they do say there is a fix(from the link in my original post) but it doesn't seem to be there. I'm going to try and update the bios and see if this does anything.
