Searching for 7422gx Media Reader Drivers

Hey all! I've reformatted my newly purchased laptop 7422GX and I have also lost the drivers that once came with the laptop. I got most of the drivers installed except for the Media Reader Drivers. Anyone know what drivers i need and where to get them? Thanks in advance!

I have a 7405gx...you don't have to install the media card drivers on it if you don't want to. Just stick a card in and then Windows will recognize the card reader. I think the drivers just add graphics to the icon in My Computers. The card reader software also seemed a bit buggy on my 7405gx and my brother's 7405gx too, I'd get crash messages once in awhile (like swickon.exe or something crashed). I installed XP Pro on mine and I haven't had that problem since I didn't install their drivers, I let XP do it. I dunno if the 7422gx has the same reader, but you might want to give it a try

Ok everyone... I have had the same problem as many of you when installing XP Pro and not having any drivers. I have found ALL the drivers and uploaded them to a website (in .rar, .zip, & .exe format)... Here is the link... http://benchmarklends.net/Gateway7422gx.htm ... Enjoy
