1.)Processer:
I once had an AMD processor and I could run graphic programs with ease. Though, when it came to running multiple programs, which windows likes to do dispite what you visually have opened, AMD was not as effecient and Pentium always did the job. Centrino??? Dothan???

2.)Difference between a Sanoma and centrino laptop???

3.)RAM
importance of this and use of these sizes? 256megs, 512, or 1gig?????????

4.) laptops with hyperthreading? Any input on this?

5.) Use of laptop.
Well, I have a shitload of music and download a lot of media, in general. I don't want my laptop to so much as stutter and I don't want to wait on it either. graphic arts.

6.)Price
I'm willing to up to $1,600.

7.)Sites/laptops I've looked at that have caught my attention from greatest to least.

Actually, both of the mwave laptops are under $1600 at the moment. I would recommend the CL56 over the AMD64 one, if only because it's a pound and a half lighter. But that will obviously be more or less of an issue depending on what you want to use it for.
