china takes two blade-prong adapters..so you will need to get a three prong to two prong adapter or just a skinny two prong adapter where the third round prong will float over. the cheapest way is to go to the hardware store and pick one of those grey colored ones up (they come in multiple colors but they are usually grey) for like 55cents. they are the ones with a little metal ring attached to it which is the ground in lieu of the third prong. otherwise you can go to radio shack and pick one up for like $2.50.
you can go to www.lowes.com
and type in 7960 in the search and it will show you, or copy the following link to see the plug i'm talking about.http://www.lowes.com/lkn?action=prod...00334-419GY-SP
if going to radioshack or anywhere else, you just need the plug, you do not need a transformer or power converter since the powersupply for the lappie is multi-voltage
another suggestion if you are travelling alot to different areas is to get a universal adapter or plug kit. you can get an all in one version for about $10-25. belkin makes one you can buy at www.buy.com
or Travel Smart makes one...you use to get one at radio shack for like $10. the suitable prongs fold out according to your needs. much handier than carrying around several different adapters. if you are just going to china in your travels, then just go to the hardware store to get the cheapo thing. don't need to spend more than that.
