Found tv tuner and blue tooth mini pci - Page 3

Excellent info and useful pictures. Thanks. Just wish I hadn't ordered the built-in wifi now. In phase 9 now, so I might still try to cancel it. Incidentally, did those cables have to be soldered or are they screw or spade connectors?

They clip on to the top of the cards. as said in kirkswireless post you have to have the 2- grey cables one for the tv-tuner and the other is for the bluetooth card hope this helps.

POWERNOTEBOOKS.COM sells ther tv tuner for 55.00. It is under spare parts the the 9860 sager.

Justin: You just got your 7700, does it have the cable inside for the external coax connector?

describe it to me . i do have a taped down wire laying near the empty pci slot
post #46 of 91
where did you get the wifi card, from powernotebooks also, I checked my 7700 and it does have all the wires. only one problem, i scratched and put a small ding in the case trying to get the plate off and keyboard one of the screws were stuck, and well put it this way that screw is no longer part of the plate and case anymore anymore ...anyways this should be a nice upgrade to the notebook.....

Rob if you look above the top keys down in the crack you will see 4-spring loaded tabs, you push one at a time and start from one end. then lift the top section of keyboard up and fold it back. if you would like pics also let me know.
