Best place to purchase ASUS m3np

Thread Starter
looking to buy an asus m3np in the near future, and am interested in knowing what the most reliable and cost effective places to purchase this notebook from are? Current owners, is the lappy working out great for you, where did you buy it, and is their any reason I shouldn't get this particular notebook? Thanks alot all, I've been a forum reader for many months, and you helped me come to the purchase of my first notebook, the acer 2025, and it has been nothing but joy.

p.s. any 14 inch widescreens that are halfway decent currently available (and when does the damn asus w3 come out!?)

thanks again,

jeff

exactly aurora, very cheap and reliable

so anyone really want to help me out, i think the w3 when it comes out will just be too expensive.

I agree... when it comes out, it SHOULD be priced MORE than the current S5N, but less than the W1N.
THat's way too much for me...

jefftele, are you in the U.S?

I also am waiting for the W3N. I heard from a thread in notebookreview.com that they are going to be about $1700 USD. That is pretty reasonable. As far as when it will be introduced I have heard February 21st as a date but I have also heard mid-March. So I would guess by the end of March (at the latest) it should be available.

You can find the M3N at a number of places, inlcluding,
1toppc.com
agearnotebooks.com
rawpowerpc.com
proportable.com

Just to name a few...you can find it at other places too, under a different name such as Portable One MX series at laptopsinc.com.

Hope this helps. I'm still debating about getting it, was waiting until I see some portable Sonomas hit the market.

thank you all so much, I knew i could count on the forum for some advice. I am hoping for some clearence prices once different vendors start to launch and distribute their sonoma's, and thank you for the list, but any info on the most reliable in relation to the vendors of the m3n? I know proportable is supposed to be the top, but the price difference of nearly $300 as opposed to the m3 at say, topmicrousa.com seems very high, is it really worth it, or should i just get a tricked out m3 cheaper and take my chances?

oh and aurora, yes, Im located in the US.

thanks again,
jeff

I haven't heard anything bad about www.geared2play.com before either... and plus, I think one of their employees goes on this forum
If not this forum, then www.notebookreviews.com for sure

Good luck

Agear is supposed to be pretty good as far as ratings, I believes, and 1toppc (aka:Gentech PC) has been pretty good about answering my e-mails in a knowledgeable and timely manner.
