Guys was wondering what is the best 14.1 widescreen with glossy screen laptop. I have my eye on the Asus W3N at the moment. But are there any other out there already. I'm having trouble finding some.

Thanks for helping.

Uniwill makes on in widescreen but i don't think it has a glossy screen but still worth a look.

You can purchase one through mwave.

Sony has the 13.3" ones if you can go .8" smaller.

My eyes start to hurt while looking at the Sony s260, but not at a 14.1" lappy. Strange. I knew about the HP and I refuse to buy a Gateway (for no particular reason). Are there no other ones out there?

Benq's Joybook 7000 should be hitting the states soon (14.1" wide)

Asus has their W3N in the states by March (14.1" wide)

Acer has their 3201xci already available for about $1450 (14.1" XGA)

why do you want a glossy screen? its so stupid, it doesn';t make the picture look any better, all it does is make the damn screen harder to see because of glare, i saw one at futureshop and i could only see the boxes that were behind me. its like a damn mirror

I agree, but a lot of people seem to disagree with us. Everyone has different taste I guess. But, I do -highly- recommend looking at a glossy screen in low and bright light conditions to make sure you like them.

Really?! I was loving that laptop until I found out it wasn't available in the states. Anyone have any info?

And the glossy screen, to me, does make the screen look better. The colors are much more vivid and overall the appearance of the screen is much better. The glare doesn't bother me much at all.
