Thread Starter
Hi, my set is:
MSI M510C, xp home.

I've searched bios and system devices but have not found option disabling touchpad.
I'am using external mouse and didnt tried to use touchpad for a long time.
This is especially for m510 users (selers are MSI, gericom, few others can be known as different brands)

do you have the touchpad icon in the system tray?

If so, right click on it and select 'properties' (i think that's what it's called). You can change the properties there including "disable", "disable while typing", etc.
