Laptop Screens and Miami

I live in Miami and love to work on my laptop on the beach or by the pool but the sun completly washes out my screen.

Is this just inevitable? Is there a screen type that would work or atleast be a bit more visible in the tropical sun?

I love working outside so any help would be appreciated.

Several manufactures make an "Anti-Glare" screen. Try to find one that is specifically Anti-UV Glare.
