Hey guys, I'm new to the forums and i'm glad i found this place because i'm planing on getting an AW laptop but i can't figure out which one. Since alot of you guys have them i was wondering which one would be best for web design with breaking my bank? Thanks for any help.

With breaking your bank? I am sure you meant without correct? And is web design all you will be doing? Any gaming?

Yes, sorry. I did mean without breaking my bank. I'd like to only spend $2500-$2900. I will be doing mostly web design and maybe a little gaming but not much as i already have a gaming rig.

Are you concerned with weight, and portability? If you are then its sounding like you could easily get by with a Sentia. The 5500 and 7700 are built with gaming in mind, and not portability. I guess it would boil down to, what type of applications you use for web design.

For a moment there I was going to assume that you wanted the best and most expensive AW laptop available.

It has happened where some people come into the forums with money to burn and don't feel satisfied until they spend $5K or more.

Thx for all your help. I checked out the Sentia and i'm sure it would be great for web design. But the lure of the 7700 is too great. I must get that one.
